Hungry and tired- wanted to get some vegetables into my body, I decided to make myself a salad.
Disclaimer: I am not a salad person!! Even with meat in it, salad is just not for me and never will be a complete meal by itself…
Having shopped for veggies just yesterday, I wanted to put the darn lettuce to good use:
Voila here it is:
All I used were bits of lettuce, cherry tomatoes, a drizzle of lime juice(from a fresh lemon), and 10 gms of feta (cheese).
The flavors burst in the mouth with a lemony zing, and once you get past the stage of there being no meat (the feta totally made up for it),- it’s totally guilt free: As on fitness pal- this is 40 calories or less: INDULGE!
